450,000 tons of wheat procured

BAHAWALPUR, June 5: Local food department Deputy Director Rana Waris has said at least 450,000 tons of wheat have been procured in three districts.

Talking to newsmen on Wednesday, he said 150,000 tons in Bahawalpur, 133,000 tons in Bahawalnagar and 163,000 tons in Rahim Yar Khan have been procured so far.

He said around 5.2 million gunny bags had been distributed among growers.
