PPP leaders get bail before arrest

MINGORA, March 30: The leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP Sherpao group) have obtained bail before arrest from the court of the district session judge Swat on Saturday in a case registered against them in the Mingora police station under Sec 18 for taking out a procession in violation of Sec 144.

Those charged in the FIR include: Fazal Rehman alias Nono (general secretary Swat), Sher Shah Khan (president), Dr Khan Sherin senior vice president, Mohammad Qasim Japor Mingora city president, Tota Khan city general secretary, Haji Zubair member of the provincial council and Shaukat Ali president of the People’s Youth Organization Malakand division.

They have accused the district Nazim of victimizing his political opponents and vowed to file a suit against the Nazim inn the court.

They hailed services of their leader Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao and pledged to give all kinds of sacrifices for his release.
