BAJAUR, March 27: Two people were killed and three others were seriously injured when unidentified assailants attacked the house of an Afghan refugee with missiles at the Tarkho village along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border here on Tuesday night.

One of the two missiles that hit the house killed one Arjumand and injured two others, Aslam and Aslat.

Sources said that as one of the missiles exploded, the inmates of the house and residents of the surrounding houses gathered at the site. They were inspecting the damage, when the other missile also went off, injuring three, identified as Mauzamin, Jandol and Khanzamin. They were shifted to the hospital, where Jandol succumbed to his injuries. The sources said that the refugee, Sayed, was running a dispute with some people of another village over a business deal, adding that the attack might be the result of that dispute.
