Feroz’s goal proves decisive

LAHORE, March 23: A dying minute goal by Feroz Gulzar helped Nee Punhal to register narrow win over Rachna Polo Club (6— 5 1/2) in the Spring Cup Polo Tournament at the Lahore Polo Club Saturday.

In all, Feroz scored two goals.

For the winners, Maula Baksh also scored two goals while Punhal Yar and Usman Hayee added one goal each.

For the losers, Syed Ali Hasan struck three goals while Ameer Khan chipped in with two goals. Half goal was awarded on the handicap.

The other match between Guard Rice and Crescent was to be stopped due to poor light. The score was 3-all.

The match will resume from the same place Sunday at 2pm.
