SHEIKHUPURA, March 19: A bank manager who sustained serious injuries in an accident about two days ago, died in the Lahore General Hospital late on Monday night.

Muhammad Aslam, 30, was posted at Allied Bank’s Morr Khunda branch. On Saturday, he was returning to his hometown by a bus. He sustained head injuries when the bus overturned.

Meanwhile, a man succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital on Tuesday.

Zulfiqar was sleeping in his house in Adihan village, some 46 kilometres from here, when some masked men shot at and injured him.

SUICIDE: A mother of four minor children allegedly committed suicide in Warn village.

According to police, Sakina’s husband had abandoned her and children. She worked to feed her family but her meagre income was insufficient. She sent her children to a neighbour’s house and shot herself dead. —Correspondent
