Employees observe hunger strike

LARKANA, March 18: The activists of the Sindh Employees Alliance here on Monday observed a token hunger strike in the Jinnahbagh to press for the acceptance of their demands.

Speaking on the occasion, the general secretary of the Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association, Prof Syed Ghulam Asghar Shah, and others opposed the privatization of the educational institutions.

They demanded of the government to revert the decision of teachers’ transfers.

They also demanded to reinstate the sacked teachers and warned to continue the protest till the acceptance of their demands.
