Two die, three hurt on road

SIALKOT, March 18: Two people were killed, while three others, including a woman, sustained serious injuries in an accident between a bus and a wagon near Dameer bus stop on the Sialkot-Narowal Road early on Monday morning.

The Rawalpindi-bound bus collided head-on with the wagon as a result of which Muhammad Shahid and Mumtaz Husain were killed on the spot, while Shahzad Ali, Allah Rakha and Riaz Bibi sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to a Lahore hospital due to their critical condition.

Narowal police have registered a case against the fleeing drivers. —Correspondent
