Herdsman shot dead

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, March 15: A herdsman was gunned down in Looni village on Thursday by six persons from the South Waziristan Agency (SWA), who drove away his 22 cows and oxen.

While taking their cattle to a pond, Alauddin and Fateh Mohammad were fired upon by Rustam, Zakria, Baran, Mirza Khan, Kodak and Misal Khan of the SWA.  

Alauddin received bullets wounds and expired on the spot while Fateh Mohammad escaped. The killers drove away 22 cattle to the tribal territories.

Kulachi police have registered a case.
