ISLAMABAD, March 15: The judge of Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi bench, Justice Ali Nawaz Chohan, has summoned a district health official of Islamabad, Dr Zafar Lodhi, for harassing a doctor while conducting a raid at the latter’s clinic.

The judge directed the DHO, Dr Zafar Lodhi, to appear before the court in person on March 27 to clarify his position.

Dr Ghulam Sabir, in his petition, stated that the DHO raided his clinic in sector G-10 and harassed him alleging that there were “unregistered medicines” in the clinic.

The complainant said the DHO could not recover any such medicine except damaging his reputation and practice.

“Being a taxpayer, he has the right to seek protection,” he stated. The complainant, however, sought a legal action against the DHO.
