Woman raped

SIALKOT, March 15: A married woman was kidnapped and raped by an influential vagabond of the Pasrur tehsil’s suburban area.

The victim ‘R’ was going to Daska along with her younger sister from her parents home at Baqarpur village on Feb 28, 2002. As they came at Motra bus stop on the main Sialkot-Daska Road, Latif alias Shaddu and his two accomplices abducted ‘R’ at gunpoint. They took her in a car to an unknown outhouse at Pasrur tehsil where she was raped for several days.

On Thursday, she somehow managed to escape and returned to her parents’ who reported the matter to the Motra police.

Motra police have registered a case with no arrest.
