KARACHI, Feb 8: Seven ships, including Aspheron to load 15,000 tons of mogas against an export order, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday.
Ship movements at the wharves remained active where a dozen ships were berthed and sailed out, giving an average occupancy of 52 per cent but on the BOPs it was below average at 33 per cent owing to slow arrivals of oil tankers, according to KPT sources.
Five ships, MSC Giovannio, Gillian, Bunga Bidara, and Med Taichung, to unload and unload containers, and Bunga Saintan to offload palm oil were berthed after the sailing of seven.
The ships, which departed included Swat, Bunga Bidara, Al-Manakh, Leixoes Le Cong, Faruka and Warbah, while MSC Giovannio is due to sail out on Saturday.
A total tonnage of 53,681 tons comprising 39,356 tons of import tonnage and 14,325 tons of export cargo was handled.
The following ships are due on Saturday: Golden Gate, with crude oil, Aspheron to load motor spirit, Al-Maqwa, with high speed diesel, Hual Troper with vehicles, Kota Segar Jamila and Sagar, with containers.
