KARACHI, Dec 5: Dewan Sugar maintained their unbeaten run in the Aga Khan University Ramazan Colour Kit cricket tournament, by easily getting the better of Apparel Net (Gladiators) by five wickets at the AKU Sports ground.

Apparel Net (Gladiators) were skittled out for 105 runs in 19.1 overs.

Mansoor Ali was the only batsmen who played with confidence, scoring more than half his team’s total while hitting eight boundaries and one huge six over midwicket in his fighting 56.

Off-spinner Wusaat Hussain, named man of the match, was instrumental in dismissing the opponents for such a cheap total, while claiming five wickets for only 13 runs. Kamran Ahmed weighed in with two for 11.

In their turn, Dewan Sugar reached the winning total in only 14 overs scoring 107 for five. Asif Zakir (34) and Waqar Kundi (21), were their main run getters. Danish Zaidi picked up two for 19 for the losers.
