SHIKARPUR, Nov 28: In a deadly clash between two groups of Bandani Jatois in Kot Shahoo, kutcha area, two persons were killed and four others received serious bullet injuries on Wednesday morning.

According to reports, an old enmity existed between them over theft of a cow between Mevo and Babur Bandani Jatoi group which had claimed many human lives of both the groups.

On Wednesday, some armed men belonging to Babur Bandani Jatoi group attacked their rival Mevo group at their village with rocket launchers and Klashnikovs.

As a result of firing two persons identified as Shahzado Bandani and Rahamdil Bandani were killed on the spot, while four others including Noor Muhammad Bandani, Amjad Ali Bandani, Anwar Ali Bandani and Saifal Bandnai were seriously injured.

The injured were admitted to hospital. Kot Shahoo police rushed to the site and controlled the situation.

But both the groups were said to have taken positions amid mounting tension in the area.
