KARACHI: Tests for teachers held

Published November 26, 2001

KARACHI, Nov 25: The Education Department of Sindh on Sunday conducted B.Ed and M.Ed tests simultaneously in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana.

Those who qualify the tests would be entitled to avail the facilities allowed under the rules.

A spokesman for the department said the purpose of the test was to ascertain the competence of the degree holders, who got the degrees from various off-campus institutions in the province.

This test would also discourage those who avail the facilities after submitting fake degrees. He said in future all government facilities will be provided to the genuine degree holders.—APP
