Sons kill father over land dispute

DADU, Nov 20: A landlord, Syed Soomar Shah (80), was shot dead by his two sons and their three accomplices over ownership of a piece of land in deh Chejapur, about 10 kms from Khairpur Nathan Shah town, on Tuesday.

Mr Shah went to visit his agricultural land where his two sons, Abdul Sattar Shah and Ghulam Abbas Shah, along with their three accomplices — Gada Hussain Sial, Lal Bux Sial, and Syed Anwar Shah — arrived there and wanted him to change the record of the farm and four acres of land in their names but he refused to do so.

They shot him dead and fled from the scene.
