29 hurt in bus-car collision

SAHIWAL, Oct 14: Twenty-nine persons were injured, four of them seriously, in a head-on collision between a bus and a car on the Sahiwal-Arifwala Road on Sunday morning.

A bus (LXB-7784) was on its way to Multan from Lahore when it collided with a car (LHF-9458) coming from the opposite side. Some 29 persons sustained injuries and were taken to the Civil Hospital from where four of them were shifted to Lahore due to their critical condition.

The injured included Zafar, Nasreen, Rashid, Arif, Mohsin, Shazia, Munshi, Abdur Rashid, Fatima, Jabbar, Saleem and Mustafa.

Ghala Mandi police have registered a case.—APP
