DADU, Oct 14: Arrangements for three-day annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar were finalized at a meeting held here on Saturday.

Presiding over the meeting, DCO Dadu and chairman mela committee said that the Sindh governor would visit Sehwan Sharif on November 5 to offer fateha at the shrine of Qalandar.

He will inaugurate agricultural and industrial exhibition to be held on the occasion of the Urs.

Teacher killed: A primary school teacher was crushed to death by a speedy passenger bus on Indus Highway near Choudagi on Saturday evening.

The deceased teacher was identified as Naeem Memon, aged 24 years, son of Fatah Memon.

Police shifted the body of the victim to Dadu civil hospital.

According to Police the bus driver fled from the crime scene.—APP
