MULTAN, April 30: The modern bus terminal would be opened to facilitate passenger buses’ operation after its completion by June 30.

Officials informed CM’s political secretary Sikandar Elahi Cheema during his visit to the under-construction project on Saturday that 60 per cent work on the project had been completed and it would be ensured that it becomes operational by June 30.

The Rs78 million project, having a capacity of accommodating 1,800 passengers at a time, would have most modern facilities, including a railway booking centre, an airline office, two cargo offices, a modern dispensary, a TDCP office, a fire brigade station, PCOs, telephone booths, efficient water supply and sewerage systems, green belt, a small park, a mosque, network of walkways, besides lanes for buses and wagons.—APP
