ISLAMABAD, April 26: Pakistan are to compete in the Islamic Women’s Games in Tehran this fall, a top official said on Tuesday. Brig Arif Mahmud Siddiqui, the director general of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) revealed that a 100-strong contingent would be dispatched to the Sept 22-28 Games.

The athletes will compete in athletics, swimming, shooting, golf, badminton, table tennis, tennis, squash, taekwondo and karate.

“The participation is subject to approval and finances,” Arif said.
