LAHORE, March 6: The Punjab PML-N re-organizing committee will need another two weeks to complete its recommendations for district organizations, a task which was to be completed on Sunday.

The delay has been caused by the Saturday scuffles, of which Nawaz Sharif has reportedly taken a serious notice.

Decisions about Lahore, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi district organizations are yet to be taken.

The committee met at the residence of MNA Pervaiz Malik under the chairmanship of Zulfikar Khosa on Sunday. Tight security arrangements had been made to avert the Saturday-like situation.

It is said that a disciplinary action has been proposed against those who disrupted the proceedings of the Lahore division committee.

Once the recommendations are sent, Nawaz will approve them after necessary changes, if needed.
