Police beat Sindh

LAHORE, Oct 29: Police defeated Sindh 20-10 to earn the third position in the 10th national baseball championship Monday.

The final title-holders Pakistan Army and Wapda will be played Tuesday.

Police scored five runs in the first innings and three  runs each in the next two games. The winners scored one run in the fourth innings and four runs in the fifth innings.  

After scoreless sixth innings, Police scored four runs in the seventh innings.

For the winners, Nasir Butt was the top-scorer with five runs. Akhtar Khan added four runs. Shahzad Anwar, Hafiz Musadaq, Lateef Moughal,  Kamran  Butt, Waqas Imran scored two runs each  while Ghulam Husain chipped in with one run.

For Sindh, Atif and Aamir Salim scored three runs each.
