QUETTA, Feb 6: At least six people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a yellow cab and a passenger coach in Kuchlak on Sunday.

"All the six people travelling in the cab died," a doctor in the Civil Hospital said and added that the two injured, Asmatullah and Shah Mohammed, had been admitted.

The cab was on its way to Chaman from the provincial capital when it collided with the Quetta-bound coach. The two people injured in the incident were passersby.

The driver of the coach escaped unhurt. The Kuchlak police have registered a case against him. Police said the accident occured because of speeding.

The victims included the cab's driver Rehmatullah, Faiz Mohammad, Fazal Mohammad, Agha Jan and Abdul Razaq.
