BEIJING, Dec 11: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will meet chief executives of major Chinese companies here on Wednesday to review China-Pakistan cooperation in the economic sector.

Most of these companies are engaged in important development projects in Pakistan like Gwadar deep seaport, Saindak and Thar coal projects. At present the Chinese companies are carrying out about 100 projects in the country. Officials told APP that the meeting would help review the progress on these projects so as to complete them as early as possible.

The prime minister will brief them about the investment opportunities in Pakistan, seeking their support for further strengthening their ongoing partnership in various sectors. He will also address a business conference in Shanghai on Friday.
