LAHORE, Nov 18: Three people, including two friends, were reportedly murdered in different incidents in the city on Thursday.

Aslam of Sharifpura, Baghbanpura, told the police that his brother Akram alias Taidi and his friend Muddasar Hussain had an old enmity with Mushtaq Jat. He claimed that Akram used to restrain Jat from criminal activities in the area.

Aslam said Akram and Muddasar were having breakfast at Mahmoodbooti Chowk when Mushtaq Jat and his accomplices, Amjad, Arshad, Asghar, Zubair Pathan and Ghani Pathan, opened fire on them.

He said the attacker escaped and the two friends died in Shalamar Hospital. The bodies were sent to the city mortuary for autopsy. A case was registered with no arrest.

A security guard, Talib Ali, allegedly opened fire on his brother Nasir Ali over a family dispute at their house in Shadbagh.

Nasir later died in the Mayo Hospital. His body was removed to the city mortuary for autopsy. Police have registered a case with no arrest.
