Clashes in S. Waziristan continue

WANA, Nov 6: Clashes continued between militants and security forces in Speenkay Raghzay and Karwan Manza areas in the South Waziristan Agency on Saturday.

The exchange of heavy fire also continued on Friday night. But no casualties were reported.

Militants attacked the security forces positions in Karwan Manza in the night and fled after the troops retaliated with artillery shelling, targeting suspect hideouts in the area.

The exchange of fire continued in the Speenkay Raghzay area throughout the day on Saturday.
