HYDERABAD, June 3: The University of Sindh has established an online information desk to respond to inquiries about admissions and examinations through the Internet system.

The online information system has been prepared by the faculty members and experts of the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science.

It will facilitate the students in seeking information on admissions, marks sheets, degrees and schedule of examinations of the university.

The inquiries relating to admissions and examinations will be answered by the online information desk immediately on the Internet.

The address of the desk is www.usindh.edu.pk.

The university has already begun announcement of the results of entry tests and lists of qualified candidates for admissions on the university web page.

ADMISSION CANCELLED: The director of admissions, University of Sindh, has cancelled the admission of Sibghatullah Soomro, student of MPA final of the academic session 2001-2002, for violation of the admission rules.

According to a university notification issued the other day, Soomro was a regular student of Master of Public Administration final year during 2001-2002 in the university and at the same time he was studying in BE (agriculture) final year in the Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, as a regular student, which is a violation of the rules.

SPSC: The Sindh Public Service Commission, Hyderabad, has announced that the written test for subject specialists, in Sindhi, Islamic Culture and Urdu (male/female) will be held on June 10 and 11 at the SPSC head office, Hyderabad.
