SUKKUR, Oct 29: A jailer of central prison-2 was kidnapped by two armed kidnappers from the vicinity of the civil hospital here on Tuesday night.
According to official sources as jailer Asghar Ghouri was not feeling well, he went to the civil hospital for medical checkup with another jailer Anwer Khurshid in a rickshaw.
When the rickshaw reached near the hospital, two armed men intercepted it and after identifying Asghar Ghouri they overpowered him and took him away with the vehicle.
The superintendent of the central jail-2 confirmed the incident of the kidnapping.
