KARACHI, Nov 1: Speakers at a seminar termed the art of presentation as an essential factor for success in any venture. The seminar was organized by the Defence School of Business Education, said a press release issued here on Monday.

The keynote speaker, Syed Mumtaz Saeed, an expert on management, maintained that the art of making successful presentation was a gifted quality but could be refined and developed to an optimum level through proper training and guidance.

He said the effectiveness of presentation depends on putting across ones' ideas in a logical and simplified manner so that the audience could easily understand them.

He said presentation was the final outcome of intellectual efforts, arduous preparation and imaginative articulation.

Mr Saeed also called for judicious use of visual aids, animations, proper voice control and novelty of ideas in a simulated manner to enhance the quality and value of presentation.

Brig (Retd) Muzaffar-ul-Hasan, director for education of the DHA, advised the participants to intricately learn the delicate art of presentation which, he said, was a stepping stone that would open new vistas of success in their career. - APP
