KARACHI, Oct 24: The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian has said that elimination of terrorism from South Waziristan and Balochistan is not possible even if 10 divisions of Pakistan Army is deployed there.

In a statement, PPP-P Central Information Secretary Taj Haider said that elimination of terrorism was not possible without the proper role of elected representatives of people who had been pushed to the wall by Gen Musharraf.

Referring to the denial by commonwealth office that its secretary-general Don Mcknnon had not endorsed the issue of uniform and continuing rule of Gen Musharraf, Taj Haider said that this statement of the commonwealth secretary-general had proved that the present rulers by speaking lie were hoodwinking not only the 140 million Pakistanis, but, the entire world only to prolong their rule.

Accusing Gen Musharraf of withdrawing the army from its constitutional responsibilities and involving in civic affairs, the PPP leader said that elimination of lawlessness and terrorism incidents was the responsibility of the civilian authorities in every country.
