ISLAMABAD, Oct 23: A committee of International Cricket Council (ICC) will review the cases of suspect bowling action in a meeting of its Cricket Committee on Nov 9-10.

The meeting is likely to be held at Lord's and the cases of quite a few players, including that of Pakistan off-spinner Shoaib Malik, will come up for discussion.

A five-member panel will start working with Shoaib Malik after the ongoing Test-series against Sri Lanka in a bid to correct his bowling action.

The panel includes former fast bowler Waqar Younis who was the skipper when Shoaib Malik made his debut for Pakistan in 2001.

The other members of the panel are Ejaz Faqih, Khizer Hayat, Bob Woolmer. Ex-Australian off-spinner Bruce Yardley was also named but he declined due to prior commitments.

Shoaib Malik was reported for suspect action by umpires Taufel and Aleem Dar after the final of Paktel Cup One-day tournament on Oct 16.

Nominated on the sub-committee are former international cricketers Aravinda de Silva, Angus Fraser, Michael Holding, Tony Lewis and Tim May plus ICC's General Manager Cricket, David Richardson, and a panel of human movement specialists.

The expert panel of human movement specialists assisting the sub-committee is made up of Dr Hurrion, Professor Bruce Elliott and Dr Marc Portus.

The former West Indies fast bowler, Holding, and the chairman of the MCC's Cricket Committee, Tony Lewis, are not members of the Cricket Committee but were opted onto this bowling sub-committee by the other members to provide their expert input.-APP
