KARACHI, Oct 17: The strike by the Daily Wages Action Committee of the Pakistan Telecommunications Company workers against the PTCL administration has entered its 10th day on Sunday.

The spokesman of the committee, criticizing the PTCL administration, said that due to its dual policy, the services of its daily-wages employees in Karachi had not been regularized, while those in Punjab had been regularized.

He said the affected employees had been serving the company for the last 12 years, and added that they should be treated at par with the other employees and be regularized.

He said that the Muslim League should convince its government that the daily wagers in Karachi be provided due relief.-PPI
