LAHORE, Aug 14: The Pakistan team which achieved their first Test victory against England at Oval in 1954 will be decorated with silver medals and awarded cash prizes at a special ceremony at the Qadhafi Stadium on Monday to mark the 50th anniversary of the victory.

Led by Abdul Hafeez Kardar, Pakistan beat England by 24 runs in the fourth Test (Aug 12 to 17), to square the four-match series 1-1.

Oval's hero medium-pacer Fazal Mahmood harvested a rich crop of a match-haul of 12 wickets for 99 (6-53 and 6-46) to make the headline "England's Fazalled".

Pakistan had lost the second Test by a big margin of an innings and 129 runs at Nottingham which was played from July 1 to 5.
