SUKKUR: Karo-kari: two killed

SUKKUR, Aug 14: A man and a woman were shot dead in the Ali Bahar Marfani village, Shikarpur, on the pretext of karo-kari on Friday night.

Ameeran, wife of Ali Sher, and Humair Marfani, son of Faiz Mohammad, were killed allegedly by the woman's brother, Mohammad Bux.

The husband of the woman lodged an FIR against the accused.

POWER PLANT: Hesco authorities said a major fault in the gas section of the Liberty power plant, Daharki, has been reportedly causing power shutdowns in different parts of upper Sindh for a week.
