KARACHI, July 17: The Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) will install a new 30 MVA transformer at the Federal Grid Station with switches for improvement of power distribution system.

During the installation of the transformer, electricity consumers of Federal B Area, blocks 1, 2, 7, 10, 14, 15, 16B, 22, Ruqayya Square, Imam Hospital, Lal Shehbaz, Bhangoria, R.P. Confectionery, Al-Rahim Textile, Meena Bazar, North Karachi, Sector No 11-G, Godhra Camp might face temporary interruptions from July 19 to July 25 between 10am and 2pm.

Due to shifting of transformer, power supply would also be interrupted on July 19 in Clifton Sea View blocks 1, 2, 13, 23A, 23B, 12A, 12B, 1A, 1B, 29th & 30th Street of Khayaban-e-Mujahid from 10am to 5pm.

While due to preventive maintenance work under the system improvement plan, electricity supply would be interrupted on July 19 from 10am to 40 pm in Landhi areas of Machine Tool Factory, Sindh Alkalis, International Industries, Majeed Colony, KMC Abattoir, Cattle Colony, Labour Flats, EPZ Authority, EPZ-II; and in North Karachi, Sector 16-B. - APP
