PESHAWAR, June 5: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F NWFP chapter, while expressing concern over the prevailing law and order situation in Karachi has demanded that the government in Sindh should be dismissed.
The executive council of the JUI-F met here on Saturday, which was presided over by its provincial chief MNA Sheikh Amanullah, said a press release.
The council discussed situation in Sindh and asked the federal government to take necessary action and direct the law enforcing agencies to restore law and order situation in Karachi.
The meeting observed that there was complete harmony among all sects in Karachi, but some vested interest were projecting situation as a sectarian dispute.
It said that a particular group had paralyzed the government machinery in Karachi which caused political and economic uncertainty in the country.
The press release said that the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal had played positive role to maintain solidarity among all sects.
The meeting also assessed performance of the provincial ministers and supported the NWFP government stand on the National Finance Commission award.
