MIRPURKHAS, May 29: The Kunri police have registered two cases against the additional SHO of the police station for an attempted criminal assault on a 10-year-old girl and taking some intoxicant on Thursday night.
People caught hold of the policeman, Shadi Khan Khoso, who attempted to assault the girl behind the Ayaz hotel and handed him over to the Kunri police.
The policeman was booked under section 18 of the Zina Hudood Ordinance. A separate case was registered against him after his medical examination proved that he was intoxicated.
KILLED: A teenaged girl was killed after she was hit by a Mirwah-bound passenger bus on the Mirwah-Mirpurkhas road near Bilaro Shakh here on Friday.
The 14-year-old girl, Mubina, was going along with her uncle when the bus (P-0111) hit her.
Police registered a case against driver Taj Mohammad Panwhar, who escaped. Police also impounded the bus.
