LAHORE, May 8: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday constituted a commission to make a revised constitution of the board. A three-member commission headed by Justice Karamat Bhandari, Zahid Hamid, a member of the National Assembly , and a third member whose formal acceptance is expected shortly are included in the commission. Asghar Haider, a legal expert of PCB, will act as secretary to the commission.

Announcing the other decisions, PCB chief Shaharyar M. Khan said that on the advice of LUMS, the regional development officers (RDOs) would be appointed in all the nine regions affiliated with the board.

They will also be assigned to organise and monitor regional coaching academies and ensure that coaches, umpires and groundsmen are fulfilling their tasks.

Shaharyarsaid that advertisements for therecruitingofRDOs would be issued shortly.

Daryl Foster will be visiting Pakistan in June to work out a viable coaching programme for the academies.

Test greats Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Hanif Mohammad had been invited to become visiting fellows at the Academy.

He said that Lt Gen Arif Hasan has agreed to join the PCB Advisory Panel.

Similarly, Aslam Sanjrani, has agreed to serve as Advisor to the board.
