RAWALPINDI, March 27: District Nazim Raja Tariq Kiani has said about 448 literacy centres would be established in the district by April 30 to educate and impart training to grownups.

The district Nazim was speaking at the annual prize- distribution ceremony of Montessori School, Satellite Town.

He said these centres were specifically being opened for the youth, who missed the opportunity to get admission to a formal school. The students would not only be taught how to read and write, but would also be trained in different skills to enable them get a job in future, he added.
