KARACHI, March 12: The government offices in the city will remain closed on Saturday, as the Sindh government has declared it a local holiday to facilitate the people in enjoying the one-day cricket match between Pakistan and India.

The people who have to go to various government offices for some important engagements were confused regarding the closure of government offices.

According to the notification, Chief Minister Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar has declared Saturday a local public holiday, as such all government offices of the Sindh government and the units registered under the Factory Act will remain closed on March 13.

The people of the city are taking an unusual interest in the game, especially because of the fact that the Indian team has come here to play cricket after a break of 14 long years.

Meanwhile, the Karachi University has also announced that the varsity and its affiliated colleges will remain closed on 13th, PPI adds.
