PESHAWAR, March 6: The NWFP textbook board has completed arrangements for the distribution of books free of cost among the students of government primary schools before new academic year.

According to a press release issued here on Saturday, provincial Minister for Education Maulana Fazle Ali visited the board and inquired about the arrangements made for textbooks distribution.

Board Chairman Attaullah Khan said they would distribute Rs24.10 million textbooks among the students of class one to class five of the public schools.

Mr Khan also said that a well-elaborated strategy had been chalked out to distribute the textbooks in time.

The provincial education minister also visited the control room set for monitoring the whole process of distribution through the Internet GIS System to ensure provision of textbooks to each student.
