NEW DELHI, Feb 21: Indian and Pakistani formation commanders held a flag meeting near Chorbat La in Kargil sector to discuss some local issues, army officials were quoted as saying by media on Saturday.
The company commanders, of the rank of major, held the flag meeting on Friday for over 40 minutes in the eight mountain division sector.
The flag meeting was arranged after the Director-General of Military Operations of the two countries spoke over the hotline, said the media report.
The Director-General of Military Operations of both the countries agreed to hold more such flag meetings in all areas along the Line of Control to remove any misunderstanding.-APP
