NEW DELHI, Feb 14: India will host an emergency meeting of South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (Saarc) countries on Monday to discuss closer cooperation in fighting the bird flu virus.

Officials of health, agriculture and livestock ministries of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and the Maldives will be attending the one-day meeting in New Delhi.-dpa
