QUETTA, Feb 7: Protection of the people's rights and provision of the speedy justice are the prime priorities of the judiciary and lawyers while strict adherence to the Constitution and the law is the prime responsibility of the court , says Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed.

Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed said this while speaking at the inauguration of the Bar room's expansion at the building of the district office here on Saturday.

The Balochistan chief justice said that the government was considering the construction of a judicial complex, adding that it was hoped that its approval in the near future would solve the problems of the judiciary and the Bar.

Justice Ahmed highlighted efforts to resolve the problems of the subordinate courts, saying he was aware of the problems being faced by both the courts and lawyers.

Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed said that the government and the court were striving for provision of better facilities to the lawyers while remaining within the available resources, adding relations between the Bar and the judiciary would be strengthened if the lawyers continued to cooperate.

Chief Justice on this occasion presented a cheque of fifty thousand rupees to Muhammad Javed Mohsin President of Balochistan bar association for library of the bar.
