Moreover, District Khairpur Nazim Nafisa Shah and Orangi Nazim Shahid Alam Guddo Behari were being victimized by the government.

Those who took part in the token hunger strike included Nisar Khuhro, Muzaffar Ali Shujra, Rashid Rabbani, Habibuddin Junedi, Raheel Iqbal, Makhdoom Jameeluz Zaman, Sajid Jokhio, Sassi Palejo, Shazia Mari, Dr Mehreen Bhutto and others.

They were holding banners and placards in support of their demands to stop victimization of leaders and activists of the majority party of Sindh.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr Khuhro, who is also President of Sindh chapter PPP, held the government responsible for the death of the UC Nazim and demanded a judicial probe into the death.
