Workshop on WTO regime

ISLAMABAD, Jan 10: The National Tariff Commission will hold a one-day workshop on "WTO subsidies, countervailing duties, laws and procedures" to create awareness among the stakeholders.

An official announcement issued on Saturday said the workshop would be held on January 19 at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It will be attended by senior government officials, besides representatives of business community.

The aim of the workshop is to explain to exporters, importers and manufactures the specifics of questionnaires. The relevant laws and rules would also be explained to the participants to get them equipped with the challenges of the WTO regime.
