Theft of two UCs’ record

SIALKOT, April 20: Some thieves broke into the offices of two union councils — Uggoki and Moman Kalan — and took away birth and death registration record on Tuesday night. Uggoki police have registered a case and are investigating.

HOUSE LOOTED: Two dacoits looted the house of a US-returned family in Islamia Park, Civil Lines here on Tuesday night.

Reports said the family of Sharif Bhatti had come to hold the marriage ceremony of their son. On Tuesday night, the dacoits took away gold ornaments, cash, foreign currency, electronics and other valuables worth Rs5 million at gunpoint.

Civil Lines police have registered a case.

VISIT: Wapda Chairman Tariq Hameed will visit Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Thursday (today).
