RAWALPINDI, May 31: The Pakistan Railways continues to defy the National Policy on Kutcha Abadis, the All Pakistan Alliance of Kutcha Abadis (PAK) has alleged.

The alliance held a meeting at Wagon Colony, Dhok Ratta, here on Friday. Hundreds of local residents were present, along with representatives of Kutcha Abadis from across the twin cities including the Murree Brewery Colony, Subzazar Colony, Haq Bahu Colony, Benazir Colony and Muslim Colony.

The meeting also demanded that President Gen Pervez Musharraf follow through on his repeated promises that Kutcha Abadis would be given permanent shelters and their problems should be solved.
