KARACHI, May 31: The population welfare department is arranging an award-distribution ceremony for the Village-Based Family Planning Workers (VBFPWs) of Karachi on Saturday June 1, 2002, in ARAG Auditorium of the Dow Medical College, Karachi, said a handout on Friday.

Governor Sindh Mohammedmian Soomro will be the chief guest on the occasion. Provincial minister for health & population welfare, Maj-Gen Ahsan Ahmad will preside over the ceremony.—PPI
