KARACHI: Seminar on war

KARACHI, May 31: The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, will organize a seminar, titled Jang insaniyat ki dushman hai (War is humanity’s enemy), on Saturday at 5pm, says a press release.

The speakers will include Dr Manzoor, Jamil Uddin Aali, Mahmud Sham, Qaiser Bengali, Fatima Surriya Bajia, Dr Pirzada Qasim, Dr Haroon Ahmed, Dr Mohammad Ali Siddiqui, Dr Jafar Ahmed and Aftab Zafar. Maulana Abdul Sattar Edhi will preside over the seminar.

The press and public relations committee of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, will organize a function in the honour of the former editor of Dawn, Ahmad Ali Khan, on June 5 at 5.30pm.

Dr Manzoor Ahmed, M.A. Zuberi, Mukhtar Zaman, Yousuf Shirazi, Zubaida Mustafa and Sabhiuddin Ghausi will speak at the function.
