KARACHI, April 11: Pakistan Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation (PICIC) is ready to offer margin financing facility to members of Karachi Stock Exchange for their customers. “PICIC has become the first institution to offer margin financing facility. Our agreement form and computer system is ready to offer this facility to brokerage houses from today”, a PICIC executive said here on Monday.

He said that the corporation has already approached more than 100 members of KSE through letters, telephone calls and visits of executives to offer this facility under the directives of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

He said that margin financing would be an addition to the innovative product line of PICIC to make it truly a financial supermarket in the country.

Initially PICIC will offer this facility from its head office and soon a nearest branch to KSE will be dedicated for margin financing facility, he added.—APP
